Wavebreaker

Synopsis

After three years as captain of his cousin Travis's fishing fleet, Owen has used his traditional skills to generate over two million in annual revenue. But when Travis gives him a meager bonus and publicly humiliates him, Owen reaches his limit—buying a derelict boat and striking out on his own. As he ventures into deeper seas with his crew, his fortune rises. Meanwhile, the greedy and reckless Travis faces one disaster after another, until a late-night fall leaves him brain-damaged. Yet even as Owen's business thrives, he never stoops to revenge. He simply turns his back on the past and sails toward his own vast horizon.
